Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. Crisco oil
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. butter extract
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix first 8 ingredients and beat at high speed for 9 minutes. Mix sugar and cinnamon in another bowl.
  2. Grease (heavy) and flour angel cake pan.
  3. Put few nuts in bottom, pour 1/2 batter in and sprinkle with 3/4 of sugar mixture.
  4. Sprinkle with rest of nuts and pour in remaining batter and rest of sugar.
  5. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  6. Make thin glaze of powdered sugar, butter and milk to pour over top of cake as soon as you take it out of oven.
