Peach Brandy Fruit Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. whole milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. peach brandy
  • 1/2 pt. whipped whipping cream, chilled

Instructions

  1. Melt butter; add sugar, milk and beaten egg yolks.
  2. Cook until thickened over low heat.
  3. Remove from heat; add brandy and cool. Add whipped cream and stir well with small wooden spoon.
  4. Serve over fresh melons and assorted fruits.
