Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced and peeled
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the peaches.
  2. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a pan.
  3. Add peaches and lemon juice to the pan.
  4. Add enough water to almost cover the peaches.
  5. Cook on medium heat until peaches are tender.
  6. If peaches are tart, add 1/3 cup extra sugar.
