Ingredients

  • 4 peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. Karo light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. corn oil margarine

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix peaches and lemon juice together.
  2. In a 2-quart saucepan, stir together corn syrup and margarine.
  3. Stirring occasionally, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add peaches to the saucepan.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve over pancakes, waffles, French toast, pound cake, baked ham, or chicken.
