Ingredients

  • 6 cups day old bread cubes
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon almond flavor
  • 1 tablespoon tapioca
  • 1 can peach pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and then whisk in the milk, sugar, almond flavor, and tapioca until well combined.
  3. Add the bread cubes to the custard mixture, gently pressing them down to soak.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  5. Spread the can of peach pie filling over the top of the bread pudding.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the custard is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
