Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. red wine or port
  • 1 Tbsp. red jam or 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • Single cream or whipped cream or ice cream

Instructions

  2. Cut 1/2-inch off the stalk end and remove the core.
  3. Place the pears in a covered dish with jam and wine.
  4. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes or until a knife enters the pear easily.
  5. Turn the pears 3 to 4 times during cooking.
