Pecan Nuggets

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
  • 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Cream together the sugar, butter, vanilla and instant coffee. Gradually add flour, mixing well.
  2. Stir in nuts.
  3. Chill for 1 hour. Form rounded tablespoonfuls of dough into balls.
  4. Place 1-inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 12 or 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from baking sheet and roll each ball in powdered sugar.
  7. Makes about 20.
