Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup

Instructions

  1. Add eggs, one at a time, to the sugar and beat thoroughly after each addition.
  2. Add pecans, salt, vanilla, and Karo syrup to the mixture.
  3. Pour the filling into an unbaked pie shell.
  4. Bake in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour until set.
