Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 3 cups long grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast pecans in oven at 250°F for 15 minutes or until golden. Chop coarsely.
  2. Cook the rice until tender.
  3. In a skillet, coat the toasted pecans in butter.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and toss to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
