  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. salt

Tips & Substitutions

To enhance flavor, consider adding a pinch of crushed red pepper for a bit of heat. For a sweeter relish, substitute a portion of the sugar with honey or agave syrup. If you want a tangier twist, try using apple cider vinegar instead of regular vinegar. Remember to let the relish cool completely before sealing the jars for optimal preservation.

Serving Suggestions

This Pepper-Onion Relish pairs beautifully with grilled meats or as a condiment on sandwiches and burgers. It also works well as a topping for cheese platters or served alongside charcuterie boards. For a refreshing side, serve it with homemade 'Spray And Wash' for a zesty twist on your salads.

Storage & Reheating

Store the sealed jars in a cool, dark place. Once opened, keep the relish in the refrigerator where it will last for several weeks. If you have leftovers, you can use them to boost the flavor of sandwiches or as a topping for grilled meats. Reheat gently in a saucepan if desired.
