Peppered Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 c. (8 oz.) grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp. fines herbes
  • 1 tsp. minced chives
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed or garlic powder to equal 1 clove
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. any flavored seasoned pepper (such as lemon and onion pepper)

Instructions

  1. Mix cheese, fines herbes, chives, Worcestershire sauce and garlic.
  2. Scrape bowl with spatula.
  3. With hands, shape cheese into a wheel.
  4. On wax paper, roll the shaped cheese into the seasoned pepper.
  5. Pepper should cover entire wheel of cheese.
