Ingredients

  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 Tbsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Put the rice in a bowl and run water over it for 3 minutes.
  2. Drain the rice well.
  3. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the drained rice to the pot and stir to coat with butter.
  5. Add 2 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of salt.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until water is absorbed and rice is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
