Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. persimmon pulp
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, pulp, vanilla and sugar.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into first mixture.
  3. Fold in nuts and raisins. Pour into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake in 350° oven 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
