Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp. soft whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. sliced green onion
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. snipped parsley
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • dash of ground sage
  • 4 oz. ground fresh turkey
  • 1 Tbsp. cranberry orange relish

Instructions

  1. Combine egg yolk, bread crumbs, green onion, water, parsley, salt, sage and ground turkey in bowl; mix well.
  2. Shape into 1 x 4 1/2-inch loaf.
  3. Place in small shallow baking dish.
  4. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes; drain and spoon relish on top.
  5. Bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer.
  6. Serve with baked sweet potato and fresh garden salad.
  7. Yields 1 serving.
