- Shuck and clean the corn.
- Cook the corn until done.
- Cut the cooked corn off the cob and cool completely.
- Put the cooled corn into jars.
- Take 6 cups of the cooled cooking water and add 1/2 cup of pickling salt.
- Mix the water and salt well until the salt dissolves.
- Pour the brine over the corn in the jars.
- Seal the jars and store in a cool place.
