Ingredients

  • corn
  • pickling salt
  • 6 c. cool water that you cooked the corn in

Instructions

  1. Shuck and clean the corn.
  2. Cook the corn until done.
  3. Cut the cooked corn off the cob and cool completely.
  4. Put the cooled corn into jars.
  5. Take 6 cups of the cooled cooking water and add 1/2 cup of pickling salt.
  6. Mix the water and salt well until the salt dissolves.
  7. Pour the brine over the corn in the jars.
  8. Seal the jars and store in a cool place.
