Ingredients

  • 3 c. fresh garlic, peeled
  • 1 1/2 c. white distilled vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. In a 2-quart non-aluminum pan, combine vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Drop garlic into boiling mixture and cook uncovered for 1 minute over high heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and cool.
