Picnic Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • pie crust (2 crust recipe)
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice (2 lemons)
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 6 c. apples, sliced thin
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. pecans

Instructions

  1. Line jelly
  2. roll
  3. pan
  4. with
  5. pie crust.
  6. Sprinkle lemon juice over
  7. apples, which are spread over crust. Mix together butter, sugars
  8. and
  9. flour and sprinkle over apples.
  10. Sprinkle pecans over top
  11. and bake at 400° for 1 hour.
  12. Serve warm with ice cream.
