Ingredients

  • 2 c. clear gel
  • 2 c. water
  • 7 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix 2 cups of clear gel with 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Add 7 cups of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt to the mixture.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Stir in 2 teaspoons of red food coloring.
  6. For blueberries: add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
