Pineapple Ice Box Pudding

Instructions
- Melt the butter.
- Remove from stove and add pineapple, sugar, crushed wafers and chopped nuts.
- Crush enough extra wafers to put a thin layer in bottom of pyrex dish.
- Pour mixture in dish and add a thin layer of crushed wafers on top.
- Place in refrigerator to cool.
- Serve in square blocks with Cool Whip if desired.
- This is enough for about 12 servings.
