Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (18 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 pound oleo or butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Spread crushed pineapple and juice evenly on the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pineapple layer, spreading gently with a fork.
  3. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the cake mix.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the walnuts and cake mix, covering all the dry ingredients.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 45 minutes until the top is light brown and cooked through.
