Ingredients

  • 1 yellow/white cake mix
  • 2 small boxes instant pistachio pudding
  • 2/3 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Blend cake mix, 1 box pistachio pudding, oil, orange juice, water, and eggs until well combined.
  2. Spray angel food cake pan with non-stick spray.
  3. Pour two-thirds of the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Fold the remaining batter with the 2/3 cup chocolate syrup until well incorporated.
  5. Pour the chocolate-flavored batter into the pan on top of the plain batter.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes, testing with a toothpick for doneness.
  7. Allow to cool, then top with Cool Whip before serving.
