- Spray angel food cake pan with non-stick spray.
- Pour two-thirds of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Fold the remaining batter with the 2/3 cup chocolate syrup until well incorporated.
- Pour the chocolate-flavored batter into the pan on top of the plain batter.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes, testing with a toothpick for doneness.
