Pleasing Pepperoni Pasta

Instructions
- In saute or frying pan (with cover), saute onion, pepper strips and garlic until onion and peppers are softened. Add basil and sugar/sweetener to canned tomato, add to saute pan. Bring to boil, the lower heat and simmer 30 minutes.
- While sauce is simmering, cook pasta and drain.
- Serve covered with pepperoni sauce.
- Excellent with garlic bread and salad.
