Instructions
- Mix ground beef, salt and pepper.
- Between sheets of waxed paper, roll out patties 1/4-inch thick.
- Center half of patties with small amount of shredded cheese and onion and dash of barbecue sauce.
- Top with meat lids.
- Press around edges to seal.
- Broil over hot coals for 12 to 15 minutes, turning once.
- Or, bake under broiler in oven for 12 to 15 minutes, turning once.
- Makes three large burgers.
