Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Fill a pan half full of water and bring to a full boil.
  2. In a bowl, add cold water to the cornmeal gradually, mixing well.
  3. Slowly pour the cornmeal mixture into the boiling water, stirring constantly.
  4. Cook uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and tender.
