Ingredients

  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 6 eggs
  • 7 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. milk (regular or low-fat)
  • 1 small cake yeast or envelope
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook raisins in small amount of water and cool.
  2. Let milk come to a boil; cool to lukewarm and pour into a bowl.
  3. Crumble in yeast with 3 tablespoons sugar.
  4. When yeast is dissolved, stir in 3 cups flour.
  5. Mix together and let rise 1/2 hour away from draft or cold.
