Ingredients

  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 3/4 c. canning salt
  • 1 c. white sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring water, vinegar, salt, and sugar to a boil and let cook for 3 minutes.
  2. Use 1 to 2 cloves of garlic and 1 sprig of dill weed in each jar.
  3. Put cucumbers in each jar with garlic and dill.
  4. Pour hot liquid into each jar.
  5. Put lid on and cover tight.
  6. Let stand in a cool dry place for about 2 weeks. After that, store in refrigerator.
