Ingredients

  • hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • bread crumbs
  • chopped chive
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream

Instructions

  1. Chill hard-boiled eggs in cold water until completely cold.
  2. Cut the eggs in the shell lengthwise.
  3. Carefully remove the egg halves without damaging the shells.
  4. Chop the egg meat finely.
  5. Mix the chopped eggs with a dash of salt and pepper, chopped chive or browned onion in butter, and two tablespoons of sour cream.
  6. Refill the eggshells with the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the tops with bread crumbs.
  8. Brown the topped eggs in a frying pan with butter or under a broiler until golden.
