Polly'S Coconut Pie

Instructions
- Mix first 3 ingredients together in a little bowl.
- Pour milk in top of double boiler and get quite warm.
- Dump mixture into milk.
- Cook until it starts getting thick.
- Separate eggs; beat the yolks.
- Add about 3 tablespoons of mixture to yolks.
- Stir and pour back into milk mixture.
- Cook until thick.
- Set aside and add vanilla, margarine and coconut.
- Pour into baked pie shell.
- Beat whites for topping.
