Ingredients

  • 5 lb ground beef or venison
  • 3 tsp mustard seed
  • 2 1/2 tsp smoked hickory salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 5 tsp Morton Tender Quick salt

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef or venison with mustard seed, smoked hickory salt, garlic salt, and Morton Tender Quick salt thoroughly.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for 24 hours.
  3. Mix the meat mixture again and refrigerate for another 24 hours.
  4. Shape the mixture into loaves or desired shapes.
  5. Bake at 150° to 175° Fahrenheit on a broiler pan for 8 hours.
