Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 lb butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Bake the potatoes until tender, then cool.
  2. Spoon out the centers of the baked potatoes.
  3. Crumble the potato centers into large chunks.
  4. Add melted butter, salt, and pepper to the potato chunks and mix well.
  5. Place the mixture in a 9-inch pie pan.
  6. Pour heavy cream over the potato mixture and let sit for 30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
