Pudding Pie Squares

- Place 10 graham crackers in a plastic bag.
- Close and crush with a rolling pin.
- Place in an 8 inch square baking dish.
- Repeat with remaining crackers.
- Set aside 2 tablespoons of crumbs.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and margarine over low heat.
- Pour in baking dish.
- Using a fork, stir together crackers and butter.
- Pat mixture evenly over bottom of dish.
- Chill in freezer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place sour cream, pudding mix and milk in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Scrape sides of bowl often, with a spatula.
- Beat 30 seconds more. Pour into baking dish, spreading evenly over crust.
- Carefully spoon pie filling over pudding mix.
- Sprinkle with remaining cracker crumbs.
- Cover dish with plastic wrap or foil.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
- Cut into squares. Serves 9.
