Puffy Fried Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. shrimp

Instructions

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Beat egg slightly and milk.
  3. Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
  4. Dip shrimp into batter, one at a time.
  5. Fry in deep fat until brown. Drain on paper.
