Puffy paint is a fun, textured craft material perfect for kids' art projects, offering vibrant colors and a unique raised effect on heavy paper or cardboard.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • food coloring

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and water in a small bowl.
  2. Add several drops of food coloring, stirring until you get a desired shade.
  3. Make a few batches in different colors.
  4. Pour the puff paint into plastic squeeze bottles (empty ketchup or mustard containers).
  5. Squirt onto heavy paper or cardboard.
  6. As paint dries, it will become puffy and textured.
