Instructions
- Cut the beef into thin slices about 3 inches square by 1/8-inch thick.
- This can be done at the butcher's shop.
- Marinate the beef in remaining ingredients for up to 1 1/2 hours. Traditionally, this meat is broiled at the table on a Korean pulgogi grill over charcoal, gas ring or hot plate.
- Otherwise, use a frying pan or oven-broiler.
- Pork or chicken may also be cooked this way.
