Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar, vinegar, water, and butter together until it forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
  2. Do not stir during cooking.
  3. Pour the mixture onto a buttered plate.
  4. Allow to cool until safe to handle, then pull and stretch the candy.
