Ingredients

  • 1 pt. orange sherbet, softened
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 Oreo pie crust (9-inch)

Instructions

  1. Place sherbet in a bowl and stir until smooth.
  2. Stir in half of the Cool Whip until well blended.
  3. Optional: Stir in a few drops of red and yellow food coloring for a more intense orange color.
  4. Spoon the sherbet mixture into the Oreo pie crust.
  5. Sprinkle chopped Oreo cookies over the sherbet, pressing firmly into the mixture.
  6. Cover with the remaining Cool Whip.
  7. Freeze for 4 hours or until firm.
  8. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with finely chopped Oreo cookies and candy pumpkins if desired.
  10. Store leftover pie in the freezer.
