Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract

Instructions

  1. Cool the cake slightly after baking.
  2. Make holes in the cake with a long pick and pour half of the rum glaze over the cake.
  3. Let the cake stand for 5 minutes to absorb the glaze.
  4. Invert the cake onto a plate and repeat with the remaining glaze.
  5. Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
