Ingredients

  • 16 quail
  • 16 slices Canadian bacon
  • 16 slices regular bacon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Line a buttered 9 x 15-inch dish with Canadian bacon slices.
  2. Wrap each seasoned quail with a slice of regular bacon.
  3. Place the wrapped quail on top of the Canadian bacon in the dish.
  4. Combine the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream; spoon the mixture over the quail.
  5. Bake uncovered at 275°F (135°C) for 3 hours.
