Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup cold milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Place flour in a large mixing bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine milk and egg; add to flour mixture. Stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape dough into a ball; chill. Use as directed in desired recipe.
