Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unbleached flour
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons nonfat milk
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. Place flour in a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine vegetable oil and nonfat milk and add to the flour all at once.
  3. Mix quickly with a fork until the mixture forms into a ball.
  4. Roll the dough out between sheets of waxed paper to a 12-inch circle.
  5. Line an 8 or 9-inch pie plate with the pastry and crimp the edges.
  6. Pierce the dough in several places with a fork.
  7. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool before filling.
