Ingredients

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 beer (12 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the self-rising flour, sugar, and beer until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, pour melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
