These quick and easy layered bars combine chocolate, coconut, nuts, and graham cracker crumbs for a delicious treat perfect for any occasion or snack time.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square pan with butter or margarine.
  3. Place margarine in the pan and melt it in the oven or microwave.
  4. Remove the pan from the oven and spread the melted margarine evenly.
  5. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the melted margarine.
  6. Add a layer of flaked coconut on top of the graham cracker crumbs.
  7. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the coconut layer.
  8. Spread chopped nuts over the chocolate chips.
  9. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over all the layers.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Remove from oven and loosen edges with a knife.
  12. Cool completely, then cut into squares and refrigerate.
