Ingredients

  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chiles
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil

Instructions

  1. Chop the green chiles into small pieces.
  2. Combine the chopped chiles and tomatoes in a jar, mashing the tomatoes well.
  3. Add the chopped onion, sugar, salt, pepper, salad oil, and wine vinegar to the jar.
  4. Shake the jar well to mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  5. Cover the jar and let stand overnight before serving.
