Quick Cinnamon Batter Bake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 (1/4 ounce) envelopes fast rise yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups milk, heat to 120 to 130F
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Topping
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Icing
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix in large bowl, flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
  2. Stir in milk, butter and eggs.
  3. Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  4. Cover; let stand 20 minutes.
  5. Mix topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter.
  6. Use fingertips to work in well.
  7. Place in COLD oven.
  8. Set temperature to 350°F; bake 30 to 35 minutes.
  9. Let cool 10 minutes.
  10. Mix icing ingredients; drizzle over bread.
