Quick Coconut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix
  • 12 oz. frozen coconut
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake as directed on the package.
  2. Once the cake is done, use a fork to punch holes in the top of the cake.
  3. In a saucepan, boil 2/3 of the frozen coconut, sugar, and milk for approximately 1 minute.
  4. Pour this mixture over the hot cake, covering it evenly.
  5. Cover the cake and refrigerate until cool.
  6. Frost with whipped topping and sprinkle with the remaining coconut.
