Quick Corn Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced potatoes
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 3 c. hot water
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • salt to taste
  • dash of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces in soup pot.
  2. Add onion and cook until done.
  3. Now add potatoes, corn and water.
  4. Cook until potatoes are tender.
  5. Add butter, milk and seasoning.
  6. Reheat to boiling. Serves 5.
