Quick Food Processor Pie Dough

- Position the knife blade in the food processor bowl.
- Add the flour and salt to the food processor.
- Cover and process, pulsing 3 or 4 times until combined.
- Cut the frozen butter into 6 pieces and add to the flour mixture.
- Pulse 5 or 6 times until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
- With the processor running, slowly add ice water, a teaspoon at a time, until the dough forms a ball and leaves the sides of the bowl.
- Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough to 1/8-inch thickness and fit into a 9-inch pie plate.
