Ingredients

  • 1 can (10) Butter-Me-Not biscuits
  • chopped fruit (apples, bananas or other fresh fruit)
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 stick melted oleo
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Roll out the biscuits.
  2. Fill each biscuit with chopped fruit and seal the edges to form fried pies.
  3. Place the filled pies in a single layer in a casserole dish.
  4. In a saucepan, combine 2 cups water, 1 cup sugar, and melted oleo; bring to a boil.
  5. Pour the liquid mixture over the pies.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  7. Bake at 350°F until the pies are golden and cooked through.
