Quick Honey White Bread

Ingredients

  • 8 to 9 c. flour
  • 1 c. nonfat dry milk
  • 3 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 c. warm water
  • 1/3 c. soft butter
  • 1/3 c. honey

Instructions

  1. In large mixing bowl, put 2 cups flour, dry milk, yeast and salt.
  2. Pour in water; beat 1 minute.
  3. Add butter and honey; beat another minute.
  4. Gradually add enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured board; knead 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Place dough in bowl; let rise (1 1/2 hours).
  6. Punch down; knead gently.
  7. Shape into loaves (3 to 4, depending on size).
  8. Let rise (1/2 hour). Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
  9. Great texture!
