Sweet and soft sugar doughnuts made from refrigerated biscuits, perfect for a quick treat or dessert. Lightly fried and dusted with powdered sugar, ideal for all ages.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. tube refrigerator buttermilk biscuits
  • oil for deep frying
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Remove biscuits from the tube.
  2. Flatten each biscuit slightly and push a hole through the center of each.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the doughnuts until golden brown, turning once or twice.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
